Roche Modern’s Gioia Connell, Connecticut Green Building Council Board Member, is moderating a panel at the Northeast Summit for a Sustainable Built Environment (NESSBE) on March 25th.

New Haven, CT, March 22, 2021 - NESSBE is the premiere biennial northeast regional summit for professionals, owners, academics, policymakers, advocates and students of sustainability in the built environment. Titled Power of Place: Climate Action and Justice in The Built Environment, the Summit brings together thought leaders from across the Northeast to discuss tangible actions for fostering equity in climate work. Keynote speakers include Jacqueline Patterson from the NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice Program, Eric Corey Freed from CannonDesign, Heather McTeer Toney from the Environmental Defense Fund and Mom's Clean Air Force, and Paul Nelson from Resilient Cities Catalyst.

With less than a decade to reverse current greenhouse gas emissions trends and avoid the most devastating effects of climate change, NESSBE is designed to explore the means and solutions for tackling this challenge while improving quality of life for all of our region's residents.
